Progress report - Rei traits and Discord server (10/06/2022)

Traits for Rei

The traits that where added are:

• Family relationship: Having a good, bad or neutral relationship with their parents, with comments about how they are an inspiration, are still resentful or neither hating or loving their parents.
• Academic performance: This will change how Rei perform during classes and even will add some scenes with Evangeline helping Rei.
• Sociality:  Being an extrovert or introvert will be the two options for Rei, they will still be somewhat popular but with commentaries about how they are being pull by their companions or not. Also, scenes in public will take in account this.
• Future plans: What Rei want for their own future with three options; Having a family, focus on their career or living with freedom, this option will affect greatly the endings but also will impact conversations.

These are the traits that will be added on top of the already present Rei preferences:

• Food.
• Video game genre.
• Movie genre.
• Book genre.

These preferences are also being expanded together with the traits, adding more dialogues to existing scenes and events.

A side of this, I'm working on an information screen where a resume about the characters will be present and also statistics, for example, for Rei all the selected traits will change the resume, for love interests like Evangeline, will show which day is she present in certain days and also lewd statistics... to know what types of things have you done with her and how many times.

I'm not gonna lie, these days have been hard and not because external forces, just my usual internal demons, but still, even if I get stuck sometimes, the build is still plan to be released early July, as we mention before on progress updates.

The Discord server is almost done, I'm not going to ask for moderators publicly, instead I'm going to contact people who follow and help us through the development, also, Patrons who have been with us for more than three months, feel free of ask for the position~

The channels the server will have are:

• Discussion; General and about Broken & Loved.
• Development-log; With micro updates about the build on work.
• Live streams; For Q&A or just chill and chat.

For Patrons:

• Experimental; Where very broken versions of the current build would be posted.
• Deep dev-log; A more spoiler version of the normal one, with ideas and things on the plan, non publicly available.

I may add more things these days but that is all for now, I want to finish this build as soon as possible but is being convoluted for say at least, still, everything will be done, even if this update is larger than the lewd one, is less wide, a similar amount of work I hope~
