Progress update (14/01/2025) - Three things to do before the last beta.
Hi, has been a while~
As you guys know, Sack took December to treat her sickness while I (Jac Rios) took the month to rest, since the beginning of this month (January) we have been working on the game with Sack returning to some normalcy despite her sickness, in this occasion we will be working until the full release on Steam, which by the way, now the release of the game is guarantee (More details below), that being said, here are the details of what remains of the development.
CGs and other visuals for events
CGs for main events, retouching the ero scene, side characters sprites, small drawings for small events and interactions, that is everything left related to drawing characters, isn't too much in relation with previous big updates but is going to take some time. Sack is working hard to get this done, we are revising and checking everything so the scenes look as good as possible and the art-style remains consistent.
Backgrounds
I'm in charge of redrawing the backgrounds to make them fit with the characters art-style, despite these looking now less sharp, now are somehow more detailed and in tone with the characters. After taking some time drawing the first background, now it will be easy to replicate the style in the rest because is mostly tracing.
Later on in future progress updates we are going to share our progress with the artwork (Characters and backgrounds).
Codding and script revision
Revising if cycles, variables, mathematics behind the ero scene, there is a lot to do in relation with the code, this is going to take some time and is going to be laborious, but I have good progress on it, my lack of knowledge during early development is hitting me back, but what I have learn is making it easy to fix.
All the dialogues are being revised as well, I'm also adding some new dialogues and some Easter Eggs (¬u¬), as you guys can guess, there is an unhealthy amount of dialogue, so, I'm taking my time to revise all the dialogues, not only making fixes but also improving some of them. This revision will also include the English translation, fixing it and making it more natural, getting rid of all the MTL misatakes.
Steam release
Now the game will not go under revision for its content because we are going to sell the ero content as a DLC. The base game will cost $8.00usd and the ero content as a DLC $2.00usd, in this way if we have issues with the ero content we could post it separately on Itch.io. We are planning to have the Steam page done in the next few days so people can wish-list the game already.
That is everything for now, expect small progress updates for the rest of the month, we are planning to have the Last Beta ready for the beginning of February and a release date. They care, until the next time~
